We buy with no intention of ever selling. This is a family business for us too, one we hope to pass on to the next generation, so we think in decades, not holding periods. Because there is no exit to optimise for, we are free to do the right thing for the business over time rather than the expedient thing before a sale.

If a business has got to where it is, it must be doing something right. So we do not come in to fix what is not broken. We keep your employees, your brand and your management. We run the company standalone rather than absorbing it into a wider group. In the businesses we've acquired to date, the employees and the customers have told us it felt like nothing changed. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
A genuine partnership on the transition
Every owner wants something different from a sale, and we are flexible about it. Some want a clean break and a full exit. Some want to stay on for a while in a reduced role, freed from the parts of the job they no longer enjoy. Some want to take money off the table now but keep a hand in for the years ahead. We will shape the transition around what you want, not the other way round. And if the business needs a successor before you can step back, we will help you find one. We have done it before.
We move quickly, and we do not waste your time
Because it is just the two of us making the decisions, we can give you a clear, honest view fast, and a straightforward yes or no with the reasons behind it. When something is right for us, we move quickly and aim to complete within around three months of agreeing heads of terms. We only take a process forward when we genuinely believe we can complete it, and we only put forward offers we intend to deliver on. We are not in the business of wasting anyone's time.
